How to approach prospects?

You know what makes your journey more miserable? You don’t know how you can find your prospects.

Everyone faces it, don’t worry Dark chocolate Fan . Here are some actionable steps you need to try now :

1.Find out who'd be your ideal

2.Create a Personalized Message

3.Provide Value (Customized samples)

4.Engage in Two-Way Communication

3.Follow-Up Strategically

Who is your target client?

Open a doc

Write what your purpose and goal are.

Here is an example for you

I am a content writer, and I want to help X with blog writing to generate x revenue within 90 days.

Wait and observe. (You can use it as your LinkedIn headline, too.)

The format :

Skill + ICP + offer + guarantee of results.

Cool, Now you are clear with your purpose.

Now, identify your core expertise.

Be a generalist or a specialist. You decide.

(You go to an Orthopaedic for your fractured bone, not a generalist doctor; pay more to him, nah?)

Where can I find them?

You can find your ideal clients in your network.

I also prefer Social Outreach but wait for it.

Network

Network = Networth

Surround yourself with quality people to bring the best out of you.

No one cares about you if you have nothing to offer.

I reach out to people and engage with them, make fun of them, and refer them.

Make a genuine relationship with people, always respond to their queries or get involved in activities.

If you are using LinkedIn, send connection requests, and if you are using X, then DMs are a good option.

Need some good names to follow?

I hear you

Follow Justin Welsh, Alex Hormozi, and Matt Barker. Want more? Reply to the NL.

Social Outreach

You need to reach out to people with your service → people may need to be made aware of your presence.

As you are just starting, you should reach out with your services and offer free work to build credibility.

One solid piece of advice: don’t sell your service; sell your research.

Let me give you a template.

Hey, I am X, I am starting as a content writer, and I specialize in X.

I have created a couple of samples for your website.

Would you like to give it a look or maybe you can take a rest on me?

It’s a process; I humbly request not to leave the journey midway. Stick with it.

I sent 100 cold emails and got 0 responses.

People send 500 or 600 to get 10; you must tell yourself you are fine and doing the best.

You can start with 5/Day; it’s simple.

If you need a cold email/DM template from me, reply to this newsletter.

Is there any other skill required other than just writing?

You need to learn Psychology more than writing.

You need to understand your audience more than your writing.

You can polish your writing skills but if you know your audience you can captivate them and convert them.

Focus on single but deep; what do I mean?

You need to choose one single social media platform and master it.

Why social media, Anirban?

Social media will give you everything you can think of.

Exposure, authenticity and credibility.

Choose LinkedIn, find your content pillars and keep posting, but Engagement > posting.

You can resonate with my journey or Nalini’s, but you will never be able to replicate them.

So, build your own and focus on your expertise and interests.

Remember, wealth building is your goal.

Phew, that's all for today.

I will see you next Sunday with another friend, excited much??

Meanwhile, eat dark chocolate and enjoy your Sunday. Bye, my champs! ❤️
