So shall we begin?
One thing that has gripped every writer is:
“Will AI replace me as a writer?
Will I lose my job? Will clients replace me and prefer AI to write for them?
I understand the mini shocks you get, wherever you go down a rabbit hole thinking of this.
Let me tell you, it’s natural to have these doubts creeping in your mind. This will keep you grounded towards your skills and push you towards upskilling and improving your craft.
But, let this not get into your mind. Because the ship sinks when the water gets in.
So shall we begin how you tackle this situation?
Adapt and learn:
Stay abreast of the latest trends, new writing styles, writing genres and formats, writing techniques, create a unique voice for yourself and adapt to the voice of the brand. You need to stay updated to stay relevant in the writing industry. Seek feedback from seniors, peers and your audience.
AI lacks creativity and critical thinking skills:
For example: Chat GPT is an AI tool which is fed in data that already exists. It doesn't offer something new. But you as a person can come up with fresh ideas. Develop your analytical thinking skills to analyze complex topics, offer different insights and unique perspectives.
Tips and Tricks:
It is high time to move on with tips and tricks and templates. You will have to come up with your learnings into what you do. Give your writing a new voice and develop your unique writing style. Tips and tricks will give you that initial push, but your writing will help you in flying instead of sinking.
Human connection and emotions:
Readers connect via emotions and human connections. AI lacks this perspective. To write a piece of content, you need excellent research skills, in-depth knowledge about the reading audience, connect via emotions, and create content that resonates on a personal level. This will make you an authentic voice thus becoming credible.
So what does AI think will replace writers?
@Lucy
Hope this helps you understand that you have to take your writing skills seriously. Stop taking businesses and writing for granted. Observe things around you, generate ideas and perspectives, look for insights and get better.
So as a writer can I use AI?
There is no harm in using AI. But, don’t make it a writer. Always remember you are the writer and not AI. Use it as an added help to write better and faster. I have listed some ways in which you can use AI.
Idea generation
Proofreading and grammar checks
Research and data gathering
To summarize data in bite size pieces
That's all from me.
Anirban will take over from here.

Well, if you are worrying, let me simplify it in one line.
YOU WILL NOT BE REPLACED BY AI
But there is a catch. You have to learn AI.
People will be replaced if they don’t know how to use AI to amplify their growth game.
A few years back, people said computers would replace humans, but it made the job easy.
Similarly, AI will not replace you!
Luci mentioned something exciting: human connection and emotions can’t be resembled by AI, but you might ask, what if we use the prompt or program the AI accordingly?
I would say it’s a valid point.
Still, can you make a robot work the same way human emotion works?
Well, I always say QUALITY OVER QUANTITY.
Government funding is also increasing in AI to the advance of various sectors.
Well, you are finding value concerning the time you are investing.
I promise to keep delivering, but I am none.
